JSW MG Motor India has officially launched the premium electric limousine MG M9 EV. Priced at Rs. 69.9 Lakh (ex-showroom), the car offers a long range of 548km on a single charge, has a luxurious interior and modern features. Bookings have also started with a booking amount of 1 Lakh Delivery will start on August 10, 2025, through MG's official dealerships.

Exterior – Bold, Premium, and Unmissable MG M9 EV
The MG M9 EV leaves a huge mark right from its first glance with its huge size. At over 5.2 meters long, it is longer than the Toyota Hilux and also larger than the Toyota Vellfire. Its huge size gives it an unmatched road presence. Its impressive and premium design, with a closed trapezoidal front grille, stacked LED headlamps, and a high bonnet, oozes confidence, along with automatic sliding rear doors on both sides, not only add convenience but also strengthen its luxury MPV appeal. The size of its alloy wheel is 19 inches. Every design element of MG M9 is designed to make it look different.
Interior – Design, Comfort & Premium MG M9 EV
Getting in and out of the MG M9 EV is extremely easy. The front doors are wide and there are power slide doors at the back that provide easy access to the cabin. However, for higher floors one might have to climb a little up. Especially for elderly passengers,
MG has added a side step for additional convenience. To reach the third row, one has to walk between the beautiful captain’s seats of the second row, for which one might have to work a little hard, but it is natural for a car of this size. And the cabin of the MG M9 gives out a premium vibe that reminds you of the luxury styling seen on the MG Windsor.
The interior is an attractive dual-tone black and tan brown color which is beautifully complemented by chrome accents on the door handles, steering wheel, center console and door pads. MG The M9 gets brushed aluminum trim spread over the dashboard, which increases the horizontal viewing space and gives the interior a modern and airy feel. The stem of the glossy black seats has been reduced, making it easier to clean and maintain the cabin.
To enhance the luxury experience, ambient lighting has been carefully integrated throughout the interior, from the dashboard and panoramic sunroof to the corners of the third row, creating a comfortable environment for all passengers.
Safety – Built to Protect MG M9 EV
The MG M9 EV offers excellent safety for every passenger. It has seven airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP), a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), all-wheel disk brake and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold function. For additional features, it also gets rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, ISOFIX child seat anchors and a 360-degree surround camera, making this big MPV safe and easy to drive and park.
Adding to its tech-forward approach, the MG M9 EV features Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including:

These systems performed reliably during limited testing, showcasing MG’s commitment to smart safety.
While the MG M9 hasn’t yet been tested under Bharat NCAP, it proudly holds a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, affirming its strong build quality and global crash protection standards.
Boot Space – MG M9 EV
In MG M9 EV, despite having three rows of seats, there is ample space to keep luggage, such is the size of the cabin that 4 to 5 suitcases can easily fit in. However, due to less space behind the third row, it can be difficult to keep big travel bags. If more space is required, space can be created by folding the third row seats. This option is perfect for a family road trip or going to the airport. Just keep in mind that the seat is not adjacent to the entire train, so you do not get a complete flatbed area. You will also get a power tailgate in the MG M9. This makes it easier to open and close the boot.
Performance – Smooth, Powerful, and Relaxed MG M9 EV
The MG M9 EV has a 90kWh battery at the front which is connected to an electric motor and produces 245 PS of power and 359 Nm of torque. According to MG, its range is 545km (as per internal testing), though in real conditions you can expect a range of 400-420km.
